Stained Glass Workshops
Upcoming WorkshopsJoin me for a hands-on, beginner-friendly day of stained glass making. No experience needed. Learn the process from start to finish and take home your own finished panel!
Duration: 6 hours
Participants: 4-6 students
Location: South Norwich
A few spots left!
Your day begins at 10am with a warm welcome and a short introduction to the studio, including a brief safety talk. You'll then choose from a selection of beginner-friendly designs and learn how to cut, shape and grind your glass before wrapping each piece in copper foil. We break for a 30-minute lunch (please bring your own), and refreshments are available throughout the day. After lunch, you'll solder your design together and add the finishing touches, so you leave at 4pm with a handmade piece of stained glass ready to hang. No previous experience is needed, all materials and tools are provided, and you'll have friendly guidance every step of the way.
What should I bring? Lunch (there's a 30-minute break), and a bag or box to carry your finished piece home safely. There will be occasional noise during the workshop when certain tools and machines are in use, so you're welcome to bring your own ear plugs if you’re sensitive to sound.
What should I wear? Closed-toe shoes are essential, and comfortable clothes. Tie back long hair. Aprons/over-shirts, gloves and safety glasses will be provided.
Are tools and materials included? Yes! Along with drinks and snacks throughout the day.
Where is it and is there parking? Workshops take place at my home studio in south Norwich, 29 Robin Hood Road, NR4 6BS. There is on street parking on Hall Road, and bus stops only a few minutes walk away. Please note my studio does not currently have step-free access, please get in touch if you have additional needs before booking.
What time should I arrive? Please arrive between 9:45-9:55am for a 10am start.
